What are we aiming for?
We are looking for a Fuel Handling and Operations Support Technician who can undertake the overall fuel handling duties from fuel reception to by-product removal in a safe and efficient manner.
What will you be doing?
Reporting to the Fuel Team Supervisor, you will ensure safe fuel handling duties from fuel reception to ash handling along with general site operational support. In doing so also fostering an ethos of maximum plant reliability, flexibility and availability. This is to be achieved whilst attaining high standards of Quality, Health Safety & Environmental performance.

Qualifications to succeed
The ideal candidate will ideally have an ONC/C&G/NVQ Level 3 qualification in a craft skill with a good level of practical Operational/Maintenance experience being preferable but not essential. Further a good understanding of all HSE aspects is a fundamental requirement, with IOSH working Safely a preferred requirement.

This role is a full-time role contracted for 40 hours per week, working on an alternating morning/afternoon shift rota Monday to Friday with some requirement for Saturday support.
Some occasional and ad-hoc national travel may be required.
