The position
Due to significant growth in service sales, we are looking for a competent and responsible Project Manager with solid business knowledge and broad technical expertise.
You will work primarily with mechanical and/or electrical upgrade projects on power plants based on both biomass and conventional technology.
Tasks can include service and repair of diesel and boiler plants, replacement of pressurized components, fuel conversion projects, and upgrade/refurbishment of auxiliary equipment such as burners, mills, conveyors, and slag equipment.
It will be your job to ensure that service projects are executed efficiently, so that customers experience us as a professional and reliable partner who always meets deadlines, budgets, and agreements. You will collaborate with our Field Service and Technical Departments departments to ensure the right resources are available, follow up on finances, and manage planning for optimal resource utilization. More specifically, you will:
Qualifications
You have a technical education, e.g., Mechanical Engineer or Chief Engineer, and at least 5 years of relevant work experience in the energy industry. Experience in operating 2- and 4-stroke diesel plants is an advantage. Experience in welding processes and methods according to ISO3834-2 (WPS/WPQR) would also be an advantage.
