BWSC operates from our Allerød headquarters north of Copenhagen and through a number of subsidiaries mainly connected to our Operation & Maintenance projects. BWSC employs more than 650 employees globally, with around 200 based at our headquarters. The remaining staff are located at project sites around the world and are involved in construction, commissioning or operation, maintenance, and service of power plants.

 

The People, Sustainability & Compliance team

The People, Sustainability and Compliance team comprises several corporate functions: Compliance, Sustainability, QHSE, People (HR) and office administration. We are a diverse team of 10 specialists with a focus on providing professional support to the operation of the business and thereby supporting BWSC’s overall strategy execution. 

Our People department is dedicated to recruitment, engagement, development and sparring with the business while ensuring the daily operations run smoothly. With a solid foundation, we need to further develop our People tools and processes to best support the business.

What will you be doing? 

As an HR Business Partner in BWSC, you'll be an integral part of our People team, collaborating with colleagues across the entire People, Sustainability and Compliance team and the wider organization. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you'll have the opportunity to tackle diverse challenges and contribute to shaping the future of our People initiatives and processes.

In this key role, you will provide sparring, and support to leaders, linking business, strategy, and people closely together to create meaningful impact in our journey to create ever better energy. You will also be responsible for driving the implementation of key HR initiatives, including planning and execution.

Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide proactive guidance and support to both leaders and employees, bridging the gap between business and people.
  • Provide guidance and support on various topics, incl. performance management, HR legal, employee satisfaction & motivation, prioritization, work environment, workload, retention, and succession. 
  • Take part in driving key strategic organizational & people projects.
  • Recruitment A-Z within your defined area of responsibility.
  • Lead and/or support recurring processes such as PDR and goal setting, engagement survey and the following dialogues, and salary reviews.

 

Who are we looking for?

You possess prior experience in roles such as HR Partner, Consultant, or HR Generalist within a globally oriented knowledge-based organization. Your familiarity with various HR disciplines is widespread, with a particular emphasis on performance management, leadership development, and employee relations across different countries and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Business acumen and ability to translate organizational goals into effective people initiatives.
  • Experience with leadership sparring 
  • Experience with or interest in leadership development and performance management
  • A master’s degree in HRM, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English - Danish would be an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A growth mindset - always seeking new opportunities and solutions.
