What will you do

As a Financial Controller, you will oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance for 1-2 of our subsidiaries. You will play a key role in enhancing financial processes through digital solutions and collaborating with various stakeholders. Your focus will be on accuracy, compliance, and driving efficiency as we continue our digital transformation in finance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (income statements, balance sheets), ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Project Coordination & Digital Solutions:
  • Lead initiatives to implement digital tools for financial reporting and reconciliation, enhancing efficiency.
  • Process Standardization:
  • Standardize subsidiary reporting processes, including accounting instructions, financial manuals, and charts of accounts.
  • Audit & Reconciliation:
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with the 4-eye principle and optimizing balance sheet reconciliation processes.
  • Global VAT Management:
  • Oversee VAT reconciliations, settlements, and communication with global authorities.

You are a skilled finance professional with strong analytical abilities and a tech-savvy mindset. You thrive in a dynamic, international environment and are passionate about using technology to improve processes. Your attention to detail and structured approach ensure accuracy, while your collaborative spirit and innovative mindset help drive continuous improvement.

Professional Competencies:

  • Relevant financial education (e.g., cand.merc.aud, HD(R), or equivalent).
  • Experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and consolidation.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, including IFRS and the Danish Financial Statements Act.
  • Expertise in ERP systems and advanced Excel, with experience in digitalization, system integration, and automated data extraction.
  • Experience in managing financial processes in international, multi-company contexts.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to challenge the status quo.
  • Detail-oriented with a structured approach to complex tasks.
  • Innovative and continuously focused on improving processes.
