Our commitment to excellence, innovation, and environmental stewardship sets us apart in the industry.

The position

We are a team of electrical engineers supporting power plants and energy facilities - including cutting-edge technologies like power-to-hydrogen. Our work spans from low to high voltage systems and includes the full spectrum of plant electrical infrastructure.

This key role is about getting involved at all levels, listening to your team, and working collaboratively to deliver high-quality solutions. You will be setting the direction, supporting proposal work, and contributing directly to execution.

As Head of Electrical Engineering you will play an instrumental part in advancing our capabilities and ensuring optimal solutions to ensure high performance of our client’s power plants and energy facilities.

You will join our Technology Function where you will work alongside our engineering colleagues within a wide range of disciplines from Process engineering, Layout, Mechanical engineering, Civil works and Automation. We support BWSC's business areas and customers globally with engineering deliveries. This we do within plant design, technical troubleshooting, and plant optimization during the lifetime of the plants.

Our client portfolio covers a wide range of technologies from 2-stroke engine facilities, to biomass- and waste boiler plants, and power-to-hydrogen (power-to-X).

What You’ll Be Doing

We are a project-oriented entrepreneurial Service and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) company.

We operate in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment that demands a strong focus on cross-functional teamwork. Your ability to balance a hands-on approach with detailed quality focus and overview of the workflow and interdependencies will be key to your success.

On a daily basis you will be:

  • leading a team of highly competent electrical engineers
  • the go-to person for both leadership and deep technical questions
  • getting directly involved in proposals for new projects and the execution of current service work spotting opportunities to expand our electrical engineering capabilities and offerings
  • ensuring we stay sharp, relevant, and technically sound in all our work

What we are looking for

We expect you to have gained a strong foundation in electrical engineering and installation, with hands-on experience in power generation, infrastructure, or energy services.

Moreover, we foresee that you are experienced in several of the below:

  • Solid knowledge of and experience with power generation systems, electrical equipment, and mechanical systems and installations
  • Solid understanding of LV/MV/HV systems, plant components like transformers, generators, and instrumentation and control concepts
  • Some leadership experience—whether that’s team lead, project management, or mentoring—plus the ambition to take on more
  • Excellent listener who builds trust and direction by understanding first, then guiding forward
  • Positive energy, team-first mindset, and the ability to balance structure with flexibility
  • Interest in how digital tools may improve monitoring, diagnostics, or service delivery.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, as a minimum in English and Danish is required. Other languages will be considered a plus.

We are looking for a leader who is not only passionate about the technical side but also about leadership and about motivating others. You should thrive on guiding your team by inspiring and supporting their development, creating a collaborative and creative work environment that encourages problem-solving and continuous improvement.

As a leader you focus on building a strong, cohesive team, fostering trust, and helping each team member grow both personally and professionally along with making sure everyone feels valued and engaged.
